When Ram, an avid trekker and environmentalist jumped from a small slope directly on a small path. He heard a strange sound from the knee and he immediately knew that something was wrong with the joint. An MRI study confirmed his doubt, what he got was a menisci tear ( a cartilage associated with knee joint ). He was suffering from pain in the knee and instability while standing upright. Conventional doctors suggested a surgery as ligaments are hard to heal.
