How to find a good Ayurveda doctor

1) Ayurveda doctor is the one, who has done graduation course (a five and a half years of course called bachelor of ayurveda medicine and surgery i.e. B.A.M.S ) or a post graduation course (B.A.M.S + 2 years). Graduation course is having following subjects in the syallbus

a) Anatomy
b) Physiology
c) Pathology
d) Internal medicines
e) Gynecology and obstetrics
f) Paediatrics
g) Medico-legal medicines
h) Surgery
i) Pharmacology
j) Clinical medicines
k) Yoga and vedic philosophy
l) Internship

2) Ayurveda doctor should keep relevant certificates with him/her, and produce them on request

3) See for your doctors association with institutes and other organisations

4) Please find out if your ayurveda doctor is working full time or has other business

5) Please find out if your ayurveda doctor has a system to keep all your records confidentially for at least 10 years

6) Every country has some protocols to register ayurveda doctors, find out if he/she is registered with the concerned authorities.
