India is blessed with an immense wealth of medicinal plants which have been used from time immemorial by traditional healers. Unfortunately, much of this information has remained buried in old texts and manuscripts.
A city-based ayurvedic physician, Dr. Rahul Saraf, along with researchers from the state forest Department and the Centre's Department of Science and Technology, has taken the pains to identify several of these plants.
