POMEGRANATE /DALIMBA /
Botanical Name – Punica
granatum
Use- To treat infertility ,diarrhea,dysentery.Also used as
an antiseptic and a general tonic and thirst reliever
Method- Fresh fruit juice is given as 1 cup once as thirst
reliever ,infertility and general tonic .Dried fruit rind ( shell ) powder is
given as 1 tsf powder thrice a day in case of diarrhea and dysentery
Juice of pomegtranate gives good results in quickening
recovery from tuberculosis ,hepatitis and cardiac ishaemia .
Pieces of fresh rind boiled in a glass of water can be given
to stop diarrhea and dysentery
Cultivation – This plant can be grown on land or big terrace
instead of pots .It needs plenty of sunlight ,moderate water and rich soil .
